Most of these are value-neutral in the default theme, where the text token resolves to the color the surface already inherited and the background token is often a currentColor wash of it; they take effect under forced colors, a lightweight theme and Nova. Visible by default are the app menu's sync-setup button in light mode, about:welcome's selection flair, which was rendering white text on a pale violet fill, the Top Sites edit dialog, taking CanvasText from the UA sheet, and Proton's urlbar result-menu button, where Nova's already carries the color. smartwindow-panel-list also gains the text counterpart of the button hover background it remaps into the panel's palette.
