Editor configuration

The repository includes a {searchfox}\.editorconfig <.editorconfig> file at the root that configures indentation and other formatting settings for all major editors. Most editors support EditorConfig natively or via a plugin (see editorconfig.org). Do not add Emacs or Vim modeline comments to new files.
